Using all of May 2023 which is Mental Health Awareness Month to reach out to schools, PTA’s, Boys and Girls Clubs, publications, elected officials and organizations like NAMI to draw participation, the event itself will be held at one of the approved dates first week in June 2023 at Volunteer Park Amphitheater. The event will include public speakers addressing the need to dismantle stigma about youth mental illness and will include public officials, mental health providers, youth, and Hold Your Crown leadership. The event will include using the Volunteer Park Amphitheater stage for speakers and live music performances. Near the stage tables and chairs will be set up for two groups for break-out sessions with Hold Your Crown leadership and trade professionals so that youth can share their testimonials and receive resources of where to get help.
